Whether or not you are a “birthday person,” take time on your birthday to reflect on your life’s journey so far, where you’ve been, where are you now and where you are heading. Think about the wonderful people you’ve “picked up” along the way, like beautiful flowers on a lovely trail. Give gratitude for both the happy, joyous experiences AS WELL AS those that were difficult and painful, as each experience (no matter how happy or sad) has served a meaningful purpose in your life. Take time to be present and smile– and remind yourself that only YOU get to live YOUR life’s journey, from the very beginning to the very end… with all its windy roads, peaks and valleys, dreams and adventures. Tale time to ask yourself, “What shall I write in my next chapter?” 🙂
P.S. Thanks so much for ALL the wonderful birthday wishes yesterday and celebrations!! 🙂 I feel so lucky to have all of you as a part of my life’s journey. It has been awesome to reconnect with childhood & high school friends from my Japan days as well as those from U-Dub/ AZD/ Husky Marching Band, living in London, my radio days and in recent years– in the wonderful world of entrepreneurship.
